Coat Strip
Coat Strip
Coat Strip is an advanced, thixotropic gel-based chemical paint remover engineered to effectively penetrate and dissolve old, stubborn, and weathered coating layers.
Technical Property | Value / Description | Engineering Benefit |
Chemical Base | Blend of organic solvents with a gel structure | Deep penetration with excellent non-sag vertical stability |
Appearance | Clear to whitish gel consistency | Easy application with uniform thickness tracking |
Specific Gravity | Approx. 1.15 kg/liter | Dense body ensures longer dwell time on the coating |
Coverage / Consumption | 200 - 400 g/m² (Depending on paint thickness) | High cost-efficiency; strips multiple layers in one step |
Substrate Impact | 100% Safe on concrete, steel, and timber | Strips paint without corroding metals or degrading wood fibers |
Coat-Stripper
Multi-Layer Blistering: Capable of breaking down and lifting multiple layers of accumulated old paints in a single application.
Thixotropic Form (Non-Sag): Specially engineered for effortless application on structural walls, ceilings, and external facades without dripping.
Non-Destructive Alternative: Eliminates the need for aggressive mechanical grinding, sandblasting, or thermal burning, preserving structural substrate integrity.
Effortless Post-Stripping Clean: Softened paint residue can be effortlessly removed using a putty knife or high-pressure water jetting.
Anti-Flash Rust Protectors: Contains specialized additives that prevent flash rusting on metallic surfaces during the stripping process.
Rehabilitating building facades and concrete structural components by lifting old plastic and acrylic paints.
Stripping and preparing steel structures, storage tanks, and decorative ironworks from failed coatings prior to recoating.
Restoring antique wooden fixtures, joinery, and furniture by lifting old varnishes and nitrocellulose sealers.
Professional cleaning of formwork, casting molds, and site tools contaminated with partially cured chemical resins.
Site Preparation: Ensure the work zone is well-ventilated. Personnel must wear appropriate PPE (safety goggles, organic vapor masks, and thick nylon gloves).
Application: Apply Coat-Strip generously using a stiff brush or a steel spreader. Do not disturb the gel layer after application to allow a volatile-barrier film to form.
Reaction Dwell Time: Leave the gel on the surface for 10 to 30 minutes. The old coating will clearly begin to wrinkle, blister, and lift.
Scraping & Rinsing: Scrape the loosened paint sludge using a scraper or spatula, then wash the surface thoroughly with water or technical thinner to neutralize any remaining chemical traces before any priming phase.
