Addibond 05
Addibond 05
Addibond 05 CMB is a multi-purpose, high performance Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) polymer latex emulsion engineered as a bonding agent and mortar admixture (ASTM C1059 / BS 6319).
Technical Property | Official Certified Value | Engineering Benefit |
Chemical Structure | Styrene-Butadiene Latex Emulsion (SBR) | Enhances elasticity, bonding, and impermeability |
Adhesive Bond Strength | Exceeds concrete substrate tensile strength | Guarantees monolithic connection between concrete lifts |
Water Permeability | Dramatically Reduces Capillary Water Absorption | Protects substrates from dampness, salt petrification, and leakages |
Shrinkage Control | Reduces Drying & Plastic Shrinkage Fissures | Minimizes micro-cracking in floor screeds and renders |
Chemical Resistance | Resistant to Mild Acids, Salts, and Alkalies (easydeal) | Extends durability of coastal and sub-structure applications |

Superior Interlayer Bonding: Forms a high-tenacity adhesive film preventing delamination of renders, plasters, and concrete toppings.
Waterproofing & Damp Control: Converts standard cement mortars into dense, water-tight protective barriers.
Flexural & Tensile Strength Booster: Improves overall mechanical toughness, preventing brittle failure under dynamic loads.
Key Coat & Spatter Dash Enhancement: Improves mechanical keying for cement spatter coats (key-coats) on smooth concrete.
Corrosion Protection: Non-toxic, chloride-free chemical structure safe for embedded structural reinforcement for 2026 projects.
Slurry bonding slurry (wet-on-wet application) for connecting old concrete structures to fresh pours.
Spatter-dash (Key-coat / Tartasha) bonding admixture for smooth concrete walls and ceilings across Egypt.
Polymer-modified repair mortars (PMR) for structural patching and concrete spall restoration.
High-performance tile adhesives, waterproof screeds, and coved fillet joint mortars using easydeal.
Abrasion-resistant floor toppings for warehouses, industrial plants, and parking ramps.
Surface Preparation: Substrates must be sound, structurally clean, and free from oil, grease, or loose debris. Pre-wet substrate to Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
Bonding Slurry Mix (Bonding Coat): Mix 1 part Addibond 05 with 1 part clean water, then blend with 2 to 3 parts fresh Portland cement to achieve a brushable slurry consistency.
Application Method (easydeal method): Brush slurry thoroughly onto prepared SSD surface. Place concrete or render immediately while slurry is wet (Wet-on-Wet).
Mortar Modification: Add 10% to 20% by weight of cement into gauging water to enhance repair mortar plasticity and strength.
