Substrate Preparation: Concrete and plaster substrates must be structurally sound, dry, and clean from loose mortar scales, dust, or form release oils. Applying an alkali-resistant water-based primer (such as Hanza Seal) is highly recommended to stabilize suction before skimming.

Execution Design: Apply Kema Coat 400 straight from the pail without dilution utilizing professional stainless steel putty trowels or wide joint knives. Apply in 2 cross-directional layers (vertical and horizontal) to level out substrate imperfections.

Drying Window: Maintain a steady drying interval of 3 to 5 hours between subsequent coats to ensure optimal volatile evaporation and chemical curing.

Sanding Phase: Once the completed matrix is fully dry, sand down the surface using fine abrasive paper. Remove all residual micro-dust completely before executing external primers and final decorative coatings.
