Marmox Rockboard
Marmox Rockboard
Marmox Rockboard is a high performance composite insulation panel consisting of a high density natural Rockwool core, encapsulated on both sides by a polymer modified cementitious mortar reinforced with alkali resistant fiberglass mesh.
Technical Property | Value / Description | Engineering Benefit |
Core Material | Natural Rockwool | Supreme acoustic & thermal insulation |
Fire Classification | Non-combustible (Class A1) | Zero flame spread & zero toxic smoke |
Thermal Cond. ($\lambda$) | 0.034 - 0.038 W/m.K | Maximum building energy efficiency |
Density | 140 - 160 kg/m³ | High rigidity for heavy finishes |
Melting Point | Above 1000°C | Protects building structure during fire |

Integrated Hydro-Thermal Insulation: Provides dual protection for surfaces against moisture and heat loss.
Exceptional Lightweighting: Significantly reduces dead loads on structural elements compared to conventional plaster.
Ready-to-Tile Surface: The textured cementitious finish allows for direct and high-strength adhesion of tiles and marble.
Versatility & Flexibility: Easy to cut and shape for creating curves and complex architectural partitions.
Biological Resistance: Inorganic material that prevents the growth of mold and bacteria in wet environments like bathrooms.
Insulating bathrooms and kitchens as a substitute for traditional plastering.
Constructing lightweight shower cabins and partitions.
Floor insulation prior to installing underfloor heating systems.
Interior wall lining to treat persistent dampness and moisture
Install panels mechanically using Marmox screws and washers or chemically using flexible cementitious adhesive. Joints must be treated with fiberglass tape and coated with a waterproofing agent.
