Cerotekt M2
Cerotekt M2
Cerotekt M2 is a premium two component, fiber reinforced flexible cementitious system.
This table provides the essential metrics for consultants and site engineers to verify compliance with 2026 project specifications.
Technical Property | Value / Description (2026 Standard) | Specialist STC Engineering Note |
Chemical Base | Modified Cement + Liquid Polymers | Two-component flexible system |
Adhesion Strength | > 1.0 N/mm² | Total fusion with concrete substrate |
Elongation at Break | 40% – 60% | Absorbs vibration and thermal shifts |
Approx. Consumption | 2.5 – 3.5 kg / m² | For two coats (approx. 2mm thickness) |
Water Pressure Resistance | Up to 5 Bar (Positive) | Complete protection against deep leaks |
Toxicity Status | Non-Toxic / Potable Safe | Approved for drinking water storage |
Crack Bridging | Up to 1.0 mm | Prevents leakage through hair-cracks |
Total Cost Efficiency
While Cerotekt M2-F is a premium-grade product, its internal fiber reinforcement often reduces the need for external "Fiber Mesh" in specific areas. This saves on labor costs and time while minimizing the risk of installation errors on-site.
Specialist STC Company Procurement
We offer competitive project pricing (Project rates) with guaranteed stock availability for all national 2026 mega-projects in the New Capital, Alamein, and Upper Egypt.
Specialist STC Company prioritizes the supply of this system to high-risk areas where movement is expected:
Swimming Pools & Fountains: Built to withstand the weight of the water and the micro-movements of the pool shell.
Exposed Rooftops & Terraces: Functions as a flexible barrier under tiling, resisting the extreme expansion/contraction cycles of the 2026 summer heat.
Drinking Water Tanks: Provides a hygienic, impermeable seal that does not leach chemicals into the water.
High-Rise Wet Areas: Essential for bathrooms and kitchens in skyscrapers where structural sway and vibration are more prevalent.
Specialist STC Company emphasizes that precision in mixing and application is vital for fiber distribution.
4.1 Substrate Preparation
Mechanically clean the surface, removing any old coatings or protrusions.
Saturate the substrate until it reaches a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
Treat any honeycombing or joints with a high-strength, non-shrink grout.
4.2 Mixing & Homogenization
Pour the liquid Component (B) into a clean bucket first, then gradually add the fiber-reinforced powder Component (A).
Mix with a mechanical stirrer for 3 minutes until the fibers are uniformly distributed and the mortar is lump-free.
4.3 Application Strategy
Apply the first coat using a stiff brush or a spreader to ensure the fibers penetrate the concrete pores.
Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first once it is touch dry (approx. 4 hours later).
