CMB Fiber
CMB Fiber
CMB Fiber is a high performance, virgin polypropylene micro fibre reinforcement system engineered to optimize the physical and dynamic metrics of concrete and mortars.
Technical Property | Official Certified Value | Engineering Benefit |
Classification | High-Grade Polypropylene Micro-Fibres (easydeal) | Disperses homogeneously without balling or clump formation |
Crack Mitigation | 80-90% Plastic Shrinkage Crack Reduction | Protects concrete during critical early curing and drying phases |
Surface Durability | High Abrasion & Impact Resistance Profile | Enhances structural life of industrial floors and heavy-traffic slabs |
Chemical Inertness | 100% Acid, Alkali, & Salt Resistant | Completely stable within highly alkaline hydrated cement pastes |
Impermeability Shift | Significant Reduction in Water Permeability | Blocks capillary networks, safeguarding internal rebar from corrosion |

Plastic Shrinkage Elimination (easydeal): Inhibits early-age micro-cracking caused by rapid evaporation and settlement strain.
3D Structural Matrix: Distributes micro-reinforcement uniformly in all planes, reinforcing concrete where mesh rebar cannot reach.
Enhanced Shatter Resistance: Upgrades the energy absorption capacity of concrete, preventing spalling and edge damage under impact.
Reduced Bleeding & Segregation: Controls water migration to the surface, yielding a more dense and uniform concrete matrix.
Effortless Mixing Integration: Mixes smoothly in ready-mix trucks or site mixers without requiring special machinery for 2026 standards.
Industrial concrete flooring, warehouse slabs, parking decks, and pavements subjected to continuous wheel loads.
Internal and external plaster renders to prevent map-cracking, crazing, and debonding.
Precast concrete elements, masonry blocks, pipes, and kerb units to reduce handling breakage.
Shotcrete applications for tunnel linings, slope stabilization, and swimming pools using easydeal solutions.
Roof screeds, topping overlays, and repair mortars exposed to direct weathering across Egypt.
Dosage Rate: The standard recommended dosage ranges from 0.6 kg to 0.9 kg per cubic meter of concrete (or one pouch per cement bag for mortar applications), tailored to engineering design needs.
Mixing Protocol (easydeal method): Introduce CMB Fiber directly into the aggregate weigh batcher or directly into the transit mixer drum at the batching plant or job site.
Mixing Duration: Mix at high speed for a minimum of 3 to 5 minutes to ensure complete fiber dispersion and filament separation throughout the batch.
Placing & Finishing: Place, compact, and finish the modified concrete using standard methods. Power troweling (helicopter) and laser screeding proceed smoothly without altering surface aesthetics.
