4.1 Substrate Preparation (The Bond Zone)

• Pre-wet the concrete to a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition to prevent the host concrete from absorbing the mix water.

4.2 Mixing & Placement

• Gradually add the powder to the water while mixing with a mechanical stirrer. Mix until a smooth, lump-free, plastic-consistency paste is achieved.

• Pack the mortar firmly into the void using a trowel to ensure no air pockets remain.

• For deep repairs, apply in layers of 2-3 cm to manage thermal heat and ensure compaction.
