InsuSeal
InsuSeal
InsuSeal is a high performance, single component cementitious coating engineered for superior waterproofing of concrete and masonry structures.
Property | Description / Value |
Base Material | Polymer-Modified Cement (Cementitious) |
Type | One-Component (Mix with water only) |
Color | Gray (Grey) |
Adhesion Strength | Excellent on concrete and mortar substrates |
Water Permeability | Nil (Impermeable under high pressure) |
Pot Life | 45 - 60 Minutes after mixing |
Recoating Time | 3 - 6 Hours (Depending on temperature) |
High Hydrostatic Resistance: Highly effective against high water pressure in both positive and negative directions.
Easy Preparation: Ready-to-use factory-controlled blend; only requires the addition of clean water on-site.
Durability & Longevity: Becomes an integral part of the concrete structure; resistant to weathering and permanent moisture.
Certified Safe & Non-Toxic: Safe for use in contact with potable (drinking) water; does not affect water quality or taste.
Breathable Membrane: Allows the passage of water vapor (letting the concrete "breathe") while blocking liquid water.
Simple Application: Can be easily applied using a brush, roller, or trowel.
Potable Water Tanks: Safe, internal waterproofing for drinking water storage.
Swimming Pools: Excellent base waterproofing layer beneath ceramic tiles and mosaics.
Basements & Tunnels: Used for walls and floors subjected to rising groundwater or seepage.
Wet Areas: Professional waterproofing for bathrooms, kitchens, and balconies.
Sewage & Water Treatment Plants: Coating for sedimentation tanks and water channels.
Surface Preparation: The substrate must be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, or dust. Pre-wet (dampen) the surface with water before application.
Mixing: Pour the powder into a clean container and add water gradually. Mix thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Application: Apply at least two coats. The second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first once it has dried.
Curing: After the final coat has set, mist-spray with water for 2 days to ensure proper cementitious hydration and strength.
