Surface Preparation: The substrate must be clean, open-pored (high-pressure water jetting is preferred), and pre-soaked to a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
Mixing: Mix the powder with clean water at the specified ratio (typically 3 parts powder to 1 part water) until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Application: Apply in two coats using a stiff brush or mechanical spray. Apply the second coat while the first is still "green" (firm but not fully dry).
Curing Protocol: Cerotekt 1 requires wet curing. Mist-spray the treated surface with water 2–3 times daily for 2–3 days to ensure deep crystal growth.
