Brilliant White Substrate Optimization: Delivers a pure white, uniform base layer that drastically minimizes the absorption and consumption rate of expensive decorative topcoat emulsions.
Effortless Trowel Slip & Slump Resistance: Formulated with active slip-enhancing compounds that provide high workability for painters while maintaining high sag resistance.
Premium Micro-Sanding Processing: Sands down effortlessly with fine abrasives to a feather-edged finish without crumbling, producing an architectural silk finish.
Shrinkage-Free Matrix Stability: Features specialized volumetric control that counteracts dry contraction stresses, keeping the applied layer stable without pinholes or depressions.
Eco-Friendly Safe Configuration: Water-based composition with low VOC emissions, entirely free from pungent organic solvents, ideal for sustainable green building compliance.
Routine and commercial internal skimming (1st, 2nd, and 3rd coat profiles) of partition walls, columns, and ceilings.
Evenness rectifying, smoothing, and prep-work of interior cement renders and smooth fair-face concrete elements before final painting.
Skimming over joint-treated gypsum board systems to match panel surfaces seamlessly with joint zones.
Consolidating and re-profiling degraded internal wall matrices during large-scale commercial restoration and public works procurement contracts.
Substrate Preparation: Concrete or masonry substrates must be structurally sound, dry, and clean from loose scales, form oils, and dust. Applying a consolidating water-based primer (such as Hanza Seal) is highly recommended to stabilize suction prior to skimming.
Execution Design: Apply Kema Coat 200 straight from the pail without dilution using standard stainless steel putty knives or wide joint trowels. Apply in 2 to 3 cross-directional layers relative to the structural smoothness of the plaster.
Drying Window: Maintain a steady drying interval of 2 to 4 hours between subsequent layers to secure correct moisture evaporation.
Sanding & Cleaning: Once the final layer is thoroughly dry, sand down the surface using ultra-fine sandpaper (Grit No. 220 or 320). Remove all micro-dust completely before executing primer and emulsion paints.
